Are You an Entrepreneur or a Ceo?
Many people really confuses be an entrepreneur and a CEO. They think that they're the same thing, but over the years I 'the VE has learned that two things are really very different. An entrepreneur has a mind that is creative. Entrepreneurs are full of ideas, they 're eager beavers – and are often hard to "control." There are exceptions, of course. But all entrepreneurs tend to have that "pioneering" Streak in them – and never really lose. When an entrepreneur starts a business, is the CEO by default. But many entrepreneurs are not well adapted to remain the CEO on an extended period. (I 'll explain why the in minutes.) So when their company gets some success, many entrepreneurs hire a professional CEO. "Then the farmer admits a different role and designated, being what it is he or she does best. The role could be in the market, inventing, creating, innovative … or could be technical in nature. Of course, there are also many entrepreneurs out there who are found to be major CEI. Daily, work hard for that employer-run large-CEO (and I must say that I 'VE made the work of it not bad so far). But requires a lot of concentration! That 's because a CEO is basically a manager. A CEO should have a talent for organizations of the building, structuring, monitoring the details, watching the financials and in general that keeps the company in the black. In addition, a CEO 's work is to keep the company moving forward. The single largest responsibility of a CEO is to develop the "shareholder value." And the fact is, most entrepreneurs don 't want to think about the value of the shareholder. An entrepreneur often just want to paint on canvas – no worry to sell the painting, advertising and compliance. Often the last thing an employer wants to do is to calculate what to charge off his masterpiece so that the company makes a profit and doesn 't fail! One of the biggest differences between personally witnessed an entrepreneur and a CEO is that the entrepreneur is full of new ideas and is willing to achieve them, while new ideas are the stuff of nightmares for a CEO. New ideas challenge the structure and organization and that can mean a whole lot of extra work and boring for a CEO of course there are many entrepreneur-turn-CEI they can do both. Sometimes a "start-up" the kind of CEO can be creative and full of ideas, but still has the mindset of structured very good business person. So a farmer-managed run-CEO is still a singer – but trade is his art. Real artists do not ever painted with the selling price of the painting in mind. Real artists paint for an internal need. Trade is the art that fills that internal needs a CEO.
